About Us

It must be said that trying to buy someone that perfect gift can sometimes be a head-scratching, mind-numbing experience! It really can be a hit or miss affair, as our perception of what seems like the perfect gift differs entirely to what the person actually really wants .

For me, living in another country to my family puts me at a distinct disadvantage in the run up to Christmas, Birthdays Anniversaries, Weddings, etc, because you sometimes miss the little hints and tips of what to give them as gifts. Even if you do catch the hints, chances are someone else did too and they end up with the same perfect gift - three times!

Even living in the same locality, it is often the same case as above. Giving duplicate or wrong gifts left me feeling deflated, whereas giving someone I love the perfect gift and seeing their complete joy, is one of the best feelings in the world.

Pre-Wishlist, I was always getting it wrong!  I got my husband the wrong spec DVD Recorder, which subsequently blew up on Christmas Morning when he plugged it in! I also bought what I thought might be the perfect gifts for my niece and nephew, only to find out their mother had already bought the same two weeks before, I believe these items found their way to the next car boot sale.

We began our own family wishlist back in 2003, and since then it has proven to be a godsend in the run-up to special occasions. Receiving and giving gifts that are really wanted and much loved, saves money, time and headaches! Everyone gets pretty much what they want, although there is still that element of surprise as they cannot tell what has disappeared from their own personal list.

Due to the success of our own personal family wishlist, we are now pleased to be able to offer you, your families and friends, access to The Wishlist!

I must warn you though, it is a lot of fun, akin to being 6 years old and writing your list to Father Christmas!
